By Caitlin Wilson
Once you've experienced waking up in a sunlit room in the Cotswolds, with the birds chirping and the green leaves moving through the curtain, you're never really the same.
The English countryside has never fully left me — the way light falls across a linen-covered bed, the layered greens of a hedgerow garden, the unhurried feeling of mornings that belong entirely to you. I've been chasing that feeling in my own home for years, and this collaboration with Peacock Alley is the closest I've come to bottling it.
Founded in 1973 by Mary Ella Gabler — who is credited with building the first woman-owned, woman-operated, multimillion-dollar bedding brand in America — Peacock Alley has spent over five decades mastering the art of the beautifully made bed.
They source some of the finest long-staple cotton on earth, and their pieces are crafted with a level of care that you can feel the moment you touch them. They are, in the truest sense of the phrase, classics.
Which is exactly why this felt like home.
What We Made Together
This collection is all about that layered, considered bedroom I'm always chasing — the kind that feels like a boutique hotel but completely, unmistakably yours. We brought together printed bedding, luxurious basics, and bath pieces that work beautifully on their own and even better together.
A few pieces I'm especially excited about:
The Highgrove Toile Reversible Duvet Set
Inspired by pastoral English and French landscapes, it comes in Highgrove Moss and Highgrove Wedgewood — the kind of print that feels romantic and grounded at the same time. The fact that it reverses makes it feel like two duvets in one.
The Windsor Stripe Classic Printed Sheet Set
These coordinate so beautifully with the Highgrove Toile and add that stripe detail I love for bringing a bit of crispness to a layered bed. Every time I wake up in these sheets, I just feel happier.
The Caitlin Monogram on the Boutique Percale Collection
Crisp, breathable, available in White, Pearl, Linen, and more — these are the sheets you make the bed with every morning and feel good about every single night.
The Angelina Matelassé Coverlet
A coverlet is one of those things I consider essential for a truly finished bedroom, and the Angelina is stunning. The texture adds dimension without weight, and it drapes just right.
Why Bedding Matters More Than You Think
I talk a lot about a collected home — how a space should feel gathered over time, intentional, layered with things that mean something. The bedroom is where that philosophy matters most. It's the first thing you see in the morning and the last thing at night. It sets the tone for how you rest, and how you start again.
Luxury bedding isn't just about thread counts and fill power (though those things do matter, and this collection delivers on both). It's about choosing pieces that feel like you, that you'll want to make the bed for, that make the whole room feel considered.
This collaboration is my answer to the question I get asked constantly: where do I find bedding that's actually beautiful and worth investing in? Here it is.
