Wash:

Machine launder in warm water on the gentle cycle with a cold water rinse. Use a mild detergent without added bleach, whiteners or softeners. Do not use a liquid fabric softener, these can damage the cotton fibers.

Dry:

Tumble dry on low heat. Remove sheets promptly to prevent wrinkling. All natural fibers will shrink to some extent. You can expect about 3% of shrinkage with Egyptian cotton.

Iron:

Press carousels while slightly damp on the reverse side of the fabric using a steam iron on the hot/warm setting.

Specialty:

For special products like matelasses we recommend professional laundering. Ask your cleaner for a “Cold water block press.” This will help retain the matelasses size and shape.

Hints & Tips

1. Certain facial creams and body lotions contain ingredients such as peroxide, bleaching agents, oils or acids. Some of these agents may cause discoloration upon laundering.
2. Before using your towels and rugs for the first time add 1 cup of white vinegar to the water. The vinegar will help remove the factory-applied finish that protects the linens during shipping.
