Harsh detergents, fabric softeners, and other chemicals can damage the cotton fibers, leading to a shortened lifespan for your favorite sheets, towels, and other linens. Protect what you love with our gentle linen care and linen wash products from Le Blanc, to keep them fresh, soft, and crisp.

Since Peacock Alley is known for high-quality, luxury linens, we’re often asked for our best linen care tips. When people invest in high end bedding, they want to protect their purchases so they will last for years. We’re happy to oblige. In fact, we’ve worked with one of the top linen care names in the business to bring you our very own line of Le Blanc detergents and linen water, specially formulated to keep your linens looking and smelling their best.

One of the beauties of cotton fabrics is that they tend to become softer (and fluffier in the case of our towels or blankets) after laundering. There’s nothing quite like wrapping up in a robe that is still warm from the dryer!

How to Wash Sheets

Most of our sheets can be machine washed in warm water on the gentle cycle, with a cold rinse. Use a mild detergent like our Le Blanc Linen Wash, and be careful not to add any type of bleach, whiteners, or softeners, as these can damage the fibers.

Tumble dry your sheets on a low heat setting, then remove them from the dryer as soon as it is done, to prevent wrinkles. Please be aware that all natural cottons will shrink slightly in the laundering process. You can expect our Peacock Alley cotton sheets to shrink by about 3%.

How to Wash Towels

Likewise, our beautiful towels, washcloths, and bath rugs should be washed with a gentle detergent containing no bleach or fabric softeners. We recommend our Le Blanc Towel Wash in Summer Verbena, for a fresh, delicate clean. Again, you may tumble dry your bath linens on a low heat setting, and then promptly remove them from the dryer to prevent wrinkling.
