Peacock Alley Opens Design Studio in Dallas

DALLAS, TX - April TBD, 2011 - Peacock Alley, purveyor of luxury linens and decorative accessories, is proud to introduce the new Peacock Alley Design Studio on Slocum Street in the bustling Dallas Design District. The 2,400-square-foot studio space features the brand’s timeless favorites and the new spring 2011 collection of coverlets, duvets, bed scarves, shams and boudoir pillows, as well as one-of-a-kind items that Peacock Alley devotees love. With the feel of a designer workroom, the design studio offers a new point of view and serves as a creative resource center for the public and interior designers. The utilitarian workspace is outfitted with the tools and professional designer assistance needed to help create the perfect bedroom, including custom design capabilities available to the trade and monogramming and personalization services.

Designed by Michael Malone Architects, Inc., the Design Studio has an inviting, comfortable feeling that greets guests upon entering. The open floor plan features sample bed displays, as well as a “naked” bed that allows clients to play with textures in various colors to find the perfect look. In addition, a tub and bathroom fixtures from neighboring Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery highlights Peacock Alley’s bath towels and accessories.

“Peacock Alley holds tight to the craftsmanship of our product, and it makes sense for our new showroom to be located in the heart of the Design District where quality product is ever-present,” said Jason Needleman, CEO of Peacock Alley. “The new Design Studio will provide inspiration from classic styles to custom capabilities to create a personalized bed.”

The quality and beauty of the bedding collections created by Peacock Alley has set a standard in luxurious bed linens with fine textures, subtle hues and sophisticated designs. Exquisite detail, tailored lines and soothing tones add uncomplicated and stylish charm to any bedroom. Play up the mood with accents like quirky throw pillows and irresistible woven throws.

Custom sizing, personalization or tiny tweaks can make it uniquely yours. Almost anything can be customized to meet your specifications or personalized to make memories that last forever. Whether it is an initial or words to inspire or heal, custom monogramming of pillows or towels add a special feel to any room. Our custom sewing facility employs local Dallas women who have decades of expertise, which ensures the quality is unparalleled.

“Everything that surrounds us at the new Peacock Alley studio is beautiful and comforting with a twist of cool. We cannot wait for our friends to get into the new showroom and explore the space,” said Josh Needleman, Peacock Alley vice president of business development. “We created our showroom to be an inviting retreat where customers and designers can enjoy a cappuccino or glass of wine while they play and experiment with our endless product offerings.”
