“I always have 2 crib sheets clean at a time and layer them when “making the crib”. I first place one fitted sheet on the mattress and then lay a thick waterproof liner/ changing pad (to ensure leaks don’t get thru) - then I put a second fitted sheet right over that. When I am up in the middle of the night with my baby, there are invariably spit-ups or leaks. But with the 2 sheet method, I can easily pull off the soiled sheet and quickly lay my lil one right back to bed without interruption.
