"I recently received the Sloan Duvet Cover and Shams from Peacock Alley. This set is made of 100% Egyptian cotton in Modern Houndstooth, yarn-dyed jacquard sateen. I am absolutely in love with this pattern. As much as I would love to cover the room in Belgian white lace and eyelet, that's highly impractical in my life. The husband, teenagers or cats would ruin it within five minutes. The houndstooth pattern is both stylish and durable.

Now when I told my husband I had gotten a new duvet cover he looked at me with a blank stare. So if your husband is like mine, you'll need to explain to him that duvet is another word for a down comforter. A duvet cover, is a cover that goes over your down comforter to protect it or to change the look of a room or just because they are so darn pretty! The duvet cover has buttons on the back that let you slip your current comforter inside of it. The bottom part with the buttons is down so people only see the stylish top portion of the duvet cover. No need to close the bedroom door when company comes over now.

The duvet cover and shams I received from Peacock Alley are so soft and smooth to touch. I just sat there and ran my hands over the top for several minutes just to enjoy how soft they were! Getting our comforter inside the duvet cover was very easy thanks to the easy access opening and large buttons on the back of the duvet cover. I was thrilled to find out that the duvet cover is machine washable & can be tossed in the dryer. That is so important in my home!
