Peacock Alley and DIFFA

DALLAS, TEXAS – May 2, 2009
Peacock Alley joins forces with DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids) as they celebrate their 20th anniversary as philanthropic leaders. Since 1984 DIFFA has brought together creative and corporate innovators of the design industry to raise awareness and educate the community about AIDS.

Each year volunteers from fashion, interior design, furnishings and architecture show their support by creating a jacket to be featured in the DIFFA fashion show. To date DIFFA has raised over $4 million for AIDS organizations in the North Texas Area, serving those who have been affected by HIV/AIDS. This year will be the first time Peacock Alley contributes in supporting the cause – with a jacket designed by founder and CEO Mary Ella Gabler from her personal collection of antique linens.
