Mary Ella Bitzer, Chairman

Mary Ella Gabler, as she has been known in the industry for 30 years, is the founder and former President & CEO of Peacock Alley, Inc. Today, she is heavily involved with the Peacock Alley Product Development team.

Her professional career started in the early 1960s. While living in New York, she became a registered representative with the firm of Carter, Berlind and Weill. After her two sons were born in 1969 and 1971, Mary Ella had a desire to start a business making decorative pillows.

In 1973 Peacock Alley was incorporated and marketed primarily to Specialty stores. The growth experience over the years transitioned into creating product for the bedroom and bathroom.

She currently serves on the Board of Community Partners of Dallas and is a lifelong member of the CEO club. In 2001 Mary Ella was chosen as Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young.

John Bitzer, Advisory Board Member

Mr. Bitzer is the retired CEO of Pittsburgh-based Abarta Inc, a family-owned holding company engaged in publishing, beverages, oil and gas exploration and development, and Asian frozen foods.

He has extensive board experience in both the private and non-profit worlds including several large family owned companies.

John is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, attended Harvard College for 2 ½ years before attaining his BA and MBA at the University of Southern California. He Married Mary Ella (Gabler) Bitzer, Founder of Peacock Alley in 2008. They have five children and twenty grandchildren.

Jason L. Needleman, CEO

Mr. Needleman rejoined Peacock Alley as President and CEO in October, 2009. Mr. Needleman has nineteen years of professional sales, marketing and general management experience in a variety of industries.

Mr. Needleman graduated from Rollins College with a BS in economics. He serves on the board of Community Partners of Dallas and several other advisory boards. He is married and has three children.

Josh Needleman, Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Needleman joined Peacock Alley in 1996 as sales manager for the Midwest.

He is now responsible for private label sales to national retailers and is also the primary lead on all global sourcing for the company.

Josh graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in marketing. He is married and has three children.

Paul Hamilton, Vice President of Finance and Operations

Paul Hamilton has been with the company for 17 years. He manages the accounting, administrative, IT, shipping/warehousing and manufacturing functions of the organization.

Paul has a masters degree in accounting from the University of Texas and is a Certified Public Accountant.
